Engagement sessions

Hello!

Don’t forget to book an engagement session! They’re perfect for framed photos around the house, save-the-dates, and wedding decor/guest book. It also gives us a chance to meet if you booked me via phone/online and lets you get a sense of how we can create amazing images - great practice for wedding day. I offer two sessions, 30 and 60 minute. 30 min session is great for 1 location/1 outfit and will usually have about 50 images delivered. 60 min session is better for up to 2 nearby locations/2 outfits and will usually have about 70 images delivered. Here are some of my favorite engagement photos from 2019!

Olivia + Skyler

Wedding season is here and what better way to start than with a new blog post! Featured today is Olivia and Skyler's amazing spring wedding. We started off at Greektown Casino Hotel where the two of them got extra fancy for their special day. A short walk across the street and we were at the beautiful Old St. Mary's Catholic Church. The building anticipation of seeing each other for the first time that day was immediately dissolved as Olivia and Skyler shared their first smiles down the isle. Officially Mr. and Mrs. Zarndt, we headed over to some cool spots around Detroit for some photos before arriving to the historical Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, where it was donuts and party time! Congrats Olivia and Skyler!

Erica +Joe

Erica and Joe's wedding took place at one of my favorite places; northern Michigan. Their special day started at Brengman Brother's Winery for the ceremony and the celebrations were held at Visions at Centerpointe. We also made a stop at Hoplot Brewery for some unique photographs in their hop garden. I've been friends with Joe since high school and it was such a great time being part of his and Erica’s wedding day and doing their wedding photography. Seeing a bunch of familiar faces in the wedding party and guests made it even better. Congratulations to Erica and Joe!

Sarah + Ryan

I spent an hour with Sarah and Ryan at the beautiful Law Quad for their engagement photography. We were able to capture some of the vibrant fall colors before they disappeared for the year. Sarah and Ryan were an amazing couple to work with even though it was a bit chilly outside. I’m really looking forward to doing their wedding photography for them in 2017!

Heather + Angelo

Heather and Angelo’s wedding ceremony and celebrations took place at Greystone Golf Club. It turned out to be a super fun and relaxing day and it was a pleasure doing their wedding photography. We got to take some photos at an abandoned house near the golf club and it matched perfectly with the simple rustic style of their wedding day.  I knew Heather from a snowboarding class we took together and Angelo is a hockey player like myself. It’s always fun to connect with my clients like that! Congratulations to Heather and Angelo!

Terry + Emily

It was an honor to document a good friend's wedding this past weekend. I've known Terry since middle school and it was great to be part of his special day and also see a bunch of the guys from high school. It was a perfect day filled with emotions, great music including a live performance from Day In Day Out, and delicious BBQ. I'm super happy for Terry and Emily!
